Let your child’s imagination take flight in Creative Arts, a hands-on crafting class designed especially for curious creators in grades K through 3. Each week, students will explore a new artistic skill while experimenting with color, texture, and playful materials. This joyful, confidence-building class encourages creativity, fine motor development, and a love for making things with their own hands! In this exciting multi-project program, young artists will: • Learn Intro to Weaving — Build their own cardboard loom and create a soft, colorful stuffie they can take home. • Design Mini Mosaics — Using kid-safe, non-sharp materials to create dazzling patterns. • Paint with Yarn — Explore a whole new way to "paint" by gluing and shaping vibrant yarn designs. • Embroider on Air-Dry Clay — Create whimsical clay pieces stitched with thick yarn for a tactile, magical look. • Make Pocket Games — Craft travel-sized fun like tic-tac-toe sets and imaginative story stones. • Experiment with Marble Abstract Painting — Swirl, roll, and shake their way to stunning abstract masterpieces. • Create Colorful Sand Art — Layer bright, beautiful sand to make mesmerizing patterns. • Build Pipe Cleaner Animals — Twist and bend fuzzy pipe cleaners into adorable critters. • Make Their Own Paper — Discover the art of papermaking with hands-on, sensory-friendly techniques. • Explore Salt & Watercolor Painting — Watch colors bloom and sparkle in this magical science-meets-art project. • Celebrate With Seasonal Crafts — Each semester brings fun holiday-themed creations perfect for gifting or decorating!
